We leave tomorrow on the first leg of our journey which takes us from Sydney to Los Angeles in the US. According to Wikipedia, the city gets its name from its Spanish naming in 1781 as El Pueblo de Nuestra Señora la Reina de los Ángeles de Porciúncula (The Village of Our Lady, the Queen of the Angels of Porciuncula).
That's much more romantic than where we are at the moment which is struggling to cope with the drop in luggage allowance from 32 Kg internationally to 23 Kg domestically. Stephanie packs a mean bag so at least we can see what we have to take out. For me, I think this is the first international trip I've done since we got married where I've taken more than one bag. Forget carry on only on this trip! Tomorrow I will ask Sienna five questions as we wait to board and I will post her responses!
