We left Universal Studios yesterday morning and drove down to Laguna Beach with a brief diversion down Hollywood Boulevard. Stephanie found Derek's freeway driving stressful. Derek found Stephanie's participation in the freeway experience in the rental car (yes, we decided we had to have one) less than supportive. What do Korean companies know about making SUVs and brakes, anyway?! Sienna slept the whole way. 
We made it in one piece, checked in and hit the town for an early dinner at sunset on the beach. Restaurant was called The Beach House and food was big - big drinks, big prawns, big salads - and taste was ok. Sienna chose the Spaghetti Marinara which in this part of the world seems to mean spaghetti with tomato sauce and no seafood. Must be from those famous Catalina Island sea tomatoes that grow in the kelp beds!
